Easy Homemade Strawberry Pop Tarts

Growing up, I wasn’t a huge fan of these. In fact, it was tough to make me eat breakfast. Nowadays, still not a fan BUT I do enjoy desserts! So, although these homemade strawberry pop tarts can definitely be a breakfast item, I love these just as much in the evening.

Easy Homemade Strawberry Pop Tarts

Ingredients:

1 package of frozen pie crust, defrosted
Strawberry jelly or jam
1 egg + splash of water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Roll out the defrosted pie crust and cut into 6 rectangles.
  3. On 3 of the rectangles, add a tablespoon of jam or jelly.
  4. Cover the filling with the remaining rectangles. Seal with fork.
  5. Beat egg in a cup with a little bit of water to make an egg wash. Brush over each rectangle pop tart.
  6. Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely and enjoy or glaze!
