Butter noodles with peas, parmesan and pepper will be the easiest meal you make this week.
When I was little, my mom would make butter noodles when we had a busy weeknight filled with sports and play practices. The butter noodles paired with a veggie filled us up quickly while also getting that homecooked meal from mom. You’ll love it.
Butter Noodles
Ingredients:
Pasta with pasta water
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup cooked peas
Parmesan
Red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Fill pot with water that will cover the pasta by just an inch or two. Bring water to boil and add in the pasta. Cook the pasta completely and leave water in the pot. This is the important part and the secret ingredient to the creamy sauce.
- Once water is reduced significantly, add in the butter.
- Stir in the peas, pepper flakes, parm, and salt/pepper (as needed).
