Chocolate and Peanut Butter Bites

I consider these little frozen treats to be the perfect bite for that sweet craving! And the best part about the chocolate and peanut butter bites, besides the nostalgic factor, is the assembly for the bites is so versatile. And easy!

Ingredients:

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup nut butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Optional: nuts or other small candies or crushed cookies for toppings

Instructions:

  1. In a microwave, slowly melt chocolate chips with a little coconut oil or any neutral oil you would like to use. Warm chocolate chips in 30 second intervals, mixing in between every 30 seconds.
  2. Next, melt the nut butter in the microwave. This will only take 30 seconds.
  3. Line mini muffin pans and layer chocolate, nut butter and chocolate. I added peanuts to a few. Crumbled up graham crackers or even mini chips could be a great addition.
  4. Place the muffin tray in the freezer and let it freeze for 20-30 minutes.

I know these little bites won’t stay around for long … and it’s a good thing these chocolate and peanut butter bites take no time to whip up! Enjoy!
