Halloween Candy? Let’s Get Mixing!

If you have donated what you can and still have some leftover Halloween candy, then you are right where you need to be! Here are a few ways to reuse I like to reuse (or use) Halloween candy.

Fall Mix

Grab your favorite snacks, like popcorn, yogurt-covered pretzels and chex, and add in your favorite snack-size Halloween candy for the fall mix that keeps on giving.

Ice Cream Mix-Ins

Crush up your favorite candies and create a sundae bar or mix in the candy bits into your ice cream, making your own concrete.

Halloween Candy Cookies

Check out a few of my favorite cookie recipes and add in your favorite candies to make it even better and personalized!

Easy Sugar Cookies

No-chill sugar cookie dough comes together quickly and perfect for decorating.

Add a Little Sweetness to Oatmeal

Either swap out the sweets already included or add in a little extra. Think PayDay or perhaps M&Ms!

Breads, Muffins and Cakes

It’s not about sneaking the candy into the bakes but elevating what is already there. For the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins, consider swapping the chips for chopped up Hershey bars. For Banana Bread, I’ve tried chopped up Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. And for the Pumpkin Cake, it’s hard to go wrong. Try what you like!

Banana Bread

Banana bread is one of those recipes that can flex a bit with its flavors or be positively delicious as is!

Freezer, Please

I love tossing in a few extra pieces of chocolate candy into the freezer for a rainy day, or a beautiful day that deserves an extra treat.

Or, if you like keeping a few out to enjoy here and there, give it a fun place to be for the very short time it’s around!
