Our grandma made these every year. It’s a staple on our Midwest table, and we invite you to welcome these to yours as well!
Ingredients:
1.5 sticks butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
13 graham crackers
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and the graham crackers.
- Melt the butter and sugar in a pot on the stove. Bring it to a boil and let it boil for one minute. Turn heat to low and let it bubble for one more minute.
- Remove from heat and continue stirring until bubbling stops. Add in pecans.
- Stir in pecans and pour mixture over graham crackers.
- Bake in oven for 8 minutes.
- After 8 minutes, remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
